of Interest:
I am interested in informal astronomy education and the role of
informal learning environments in promoting science literacy and
public understanding of science. My specific research focus is
visitor experiences at public telescope-observing events. I am
also interested in telescope operators and how they mediate these
experiences. In
addition, I work on evaluation and development of exhibits and
programming in museums, science centers, planetaria and public
observatories.
